Publisher’s Summary: The kids who don’t know they’re a team get a superhero from the ‘80s to come to their aid. It’s the Tasmanian Devil…and he’s pitted against someone or something that looks an awful lot like a giant starfish! Plus, the Peacemaker’s back in action in the final showdown with the KGBeast!

Review

Inferior Five #3 adds the Tasmanian Devil, and a giant starfish into the already unique mix of characters and conflict. Saying that things have continued to get weird is an understatement…

Just when I was beginning to think that there are enough moving pieces in this story, more are added into the mix; thankfully, I am not the one doing the juggling. Keith Griffin and Jeff Lemire are doing a fine job in keeping everything in the air, moving this story forward on its interesting path. Since Inferior Five is a six-issue miniseries, I am looking forward to seeing how, and if, all of the questions that have been posed so far are answered. Still, despite not knowing exactly what’s going on, I find myself invested in the reluctant group of protagonists that this series centers on.

Bottom Line

Inferior Five continues to evolve as it surpasses its mini-series halfway mark, adding more questions to an already mysterious story, giving readers great reason to come back for more.

Jupiter’s Legacy Is Not Watchmen and That’s Okay: Netflix Original Series Review

Jupiter’s Legacy hits incredibly hard while offering viewers a well-crafted blend of caped-crusading-escapism and social commentary; this combination makes for a grounded viewing experience that’s as exciting as it is though-provoking. Jupiter’s Legacy is a must-watch series.

Eve #1 Review

Eve is more than just a typical “save the planet” story. It is more about a little girl’s courage and a love that endures even in simulation. Armed with the fake bear and a dinghy, her adventure starts.
