Publisher’s Summary: The “Justice Doom War” starts here! The Lex Luthor the League has known and fought is no more, replaced by an apex predator version of Lex, powered by Perpetua with a goal of bringing tragedy to the DC Universe. Now that Lex has powered up villains across the cosmos, he marshals his own troops, sparking a war between the Legion of Doom and the Justice League that will span space, time and the Multiverse itself. This is the start of the next big Justice League event, with consequences affecting “DC’s Year of the Villain” and beyond!

Review

“Perpetua is risen. Doom has won. The Justice League is dead. Bow before your new god and meet your fate!”

The Justice Doom War has begun, and with a new, Perpetua-powered Lex Luthor leading the ever-expanding forces of doom, the end of Justice—the end of the League—draws nigh. And, as much as it pains me to see the members of the JL hanging in such peril, my bloodthirst is getting the best of me, as I’m eager to watch this epic battle unfold.

Despite the sheer amount of story and detail that has been packed tightly into this story so far, Justice League (2018-) #30 makes for an excellent jumping-on point for readers looking for an easy entry point. Sure, a good deal of information is laid out, but it’s presented clearly. And still, despite bringing new readers up to speed, Snyder and Tynion have manage maintain, and generate momentum going into this new Justice League event.

Thanks to a balanced script that is as informative as it is exciting, and stunning artwork, Justice League (2018-) #30 is a must-read issue.

Bottom Line

Another great issue in an epic series that won’t soon be forgotten, Justice League (2018-) #30 offers an extremely satisfying reading experience as well as a solid jumping-on point for readers looking to dive back into the mix.

Jupiter’s Legacy Is Not Watchmen and That’s Okay: Netflix Original Series Review

Jupiter’s Legacy hits incredibly hard while offering viewers a well-crafted blend of caped-crusading-escapism and social commentary; this combination makes for a grounded viewing experience that’s as exciting as it is though-provoking. Jupiter’s Legacy is a must-watch series.

Eve #1 Review

Eve is more than just a typical “save the planet” story. It is more about a little girl’s courage and a love that endures even in simulation. Armed with the fake bear and a dinghy, her adventure starts.
