Title: Lois Lane (2019-) #2
Words: Greg Rucka

Publisher’s summary: Famed writer and reporter Lois Lane never worries about speaking truth to power—so what’s she hiding from the most powerful man on the planet (and her husband), Superman? Investigating a widening international conspiracy, Lois puts herself in the crosshairs with backup from an unlikely new ally from the streets of Gotham City.
As Lois Lane delves deeper into her story, the danger grows for her and her team. Will she find the source of all this political chaos or will she fall victim?
Greg Rucka builds tension in Lois Lane (2019-) #2 presenting new dangers as Lois continues to follow leads on her story. Coming off the first issue, Rucka solidifies the series edgy style. While this issue offers slightly more subtle political commentary, the parallels are hard to ignore. Overall, I am still impressed by the hard-hitting, muckraker style journalist Lois Lane is in this series.
Lois Lane (2019-) remains a must-read; Greg Rucks expertly blends meta political commentary with comic book storyline.
