Review:

“I am the whisper inside you, Seneca. I am the beginning and the end. A voice in the wilderness. A warning.”

Throughout the first arc of God Complex, Seneca has grown considerably as he ventured on a long and twisted path of discovery in hopes of discovering the truth that’s buried deep beneath his city. God Complex #6 offers answers while simultaneously conjuring new questions for readers to ask as this series continues to progress in a direction that promises to intrigue.

The conclusion of God Complex #5 left Seneca standing face-to-face with a minotaur-like beast responsible for defending the labyrinth deep beneath the city; this ending left me eagerly awaiting the arrival of God Complex #6. My expectations were quite high going into this reading, but the creative team failed to disappoint and in doing so delivered a stunning conclusion to what’s been an epic first arc.

Much like the five issues that came before it, God Complex #6 is visually impressive–the sci-fi future-tech designs are fresh and inspired and work with the script to create a unique reading experience.

The best is yet to come…

The Bottom Line:

With a surge of energy and excitement, the first arc of God Complex reaches its end here in issue #6 with a conclusion that further progresses the story and, in doing so, adds an additional level of depth and intensity to the God Complex story.

Jupiter’s Legacy Is Not Watchmen and That’s Okay: Netflix Original Series Review

Jupiter’s Legacy hits incredibly hard while offering viewers a well-crafted blend of caped-crusading-escapism and social commentary; this combination makes for a grounded viewing experience that’s as exciting as it is though-provoking. Jupiter’s Legacy is a must-watch series.

Eve #1 Review

Eve is more than just a typical “save the planet” story. It is more about a little girl’s courage and a love that endures even in simulation. Armed with the fake bear and a dinghy, her adventure starts.
