No. 1 With A Bullet #5 showcases Jacob Semahn’s excellent sense of pacing and plot progression while also highlighting his ability to weave a multi-layered web that excites readers while simultaneously ensnaring them. Jorge Corona’s work in this issue is some of his best; each and every panel packed onto the pages of No. 1 With A Bullet #5 pops with energy and excitement. Dark scenes are abysmal and high-energy ones are electrifying. This book looks and feels amazing; if Jacob and Jorge plan on outdoing themselves, well, they are going to have some serious work to do.
The Bottom Line:
No. 1 With A Bullet #5 is another stunning addition to a series that has been consistently well-written and illustrated. The energy levels are quite high as we approach the end of the series. Prepare for an epic conclusion folks.
