Story:

No.1 With a Bullet #1 is a relevant story for the modern reader that focuses on—or at least appears that it will for the near future—technology and the dangers of misusing, the pitfalls that may arise from, advanced technology. In no time at all, Issue #1 is over and interest has been generated in Nash Huang and her story.

Writing:

The script of No.1 With a Bullet #1 is well-written and extremely accessible. Sean Murphy’s tone and pacing generate excitement and interest immediately, and there is just enough humor to keep some serious material light and enjoyable.

Art:

Sean Murphy’s artwork works—as one would guess—extremely well with his script; each panel pops with life and color and energy and excitement. Matt Hollingsworth’s color work is fantastic and adds a sort of digital or electric feel to the book that adds to the overall reading experience.

The Bottom Line:

No.1 With a Bullet #1 is an exciting new series that resonates with the modern reader as their modern fears come to life before their eyes. Beautiful artwork and a well-written script make this book one not to miss.
