The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 11 “Hostiles and Calamities” Reaction

SCIENCE

Don’t read any further unless you just finished watching the episode – there are spoilers ahead. You’ve been warned.

Tonight’s episode of The Walking Dead was a bit of a departure from last week, but Josh McDermitt put on one hell of a show for all of us, and I ended up really liking it. With that being said, there’s something I need to get off of my chest…

I cannot believe that Eugene buckled under the pressure and said that he was Negan! No! God damn it, Eugene…

Alright, I’m calm now.

Despite Eugene saying that he is on board with Negan and the Saviors, I find it very hard to believe that he’s actually telling the truth here. Who knows? I want to think that Eugene is better than that, but then again, this is the zombie apocalypse and all. Yet again, Eugene is adapting to survive, and I like that. In this episode, we got some classic Eugene, and it was great.

My favorite part of the episode was when Eugene took Negan’s wives outside to slay them with SCIENCE. There’s nothing more reassuring than watching a nerd thrive in a walker-filled world.

Dr. Carson is dead thanks to Dwight, and while I’m not really sure anymore what Dwight’s endgame is, it’s clear that he’s working toward something.

That’s enough for now. Be sure to check out my full review of tonight’s episode when it’s posted later this week.
