You know what’s really starting to annoy me? My job! No, not this one, I mean my other job. The one that keeps getting in the way of watching movies and reading comics all day. I’m sure most of you feel the same. Regardless of how busy I am, I always find time for my girl, Harley.
What’s Harley Quinn #19 about? From the publisher:
“DEADLY SIN” finale! Harley Sinn’s shown Harley her absolute worst…but she—and you—are not ready to see Harley Quinn’s rage unleashed! This one will shock you to your core! And in the backup story, “Harley Loves Joker” part three, a simpler time in the past for Harley and The Joker becomes much more complicated when they’re forced to mix it up with Batman!
I’ve given up on making sense of what DC is telling me the issue is about. Harley Quinn #19 is definitely a finale, but of “Red Meat,” The arc I actually read. While I love the side of Harley this issue gave us, I’m a little let down by the ending. Even as action-packed as it is, I felt it was a little anti-climactic. I’m also very excited that the next issue is going to pertain to the story they set up about Harley’s future.
Now for the main event. I know it’s the back feature but “Harley Loves Joker” is the part I can’t wait to read. I loved parts 1 & 2 and part 3 is no different. Paul Dini continues to deliver a story that I can’t get enough of. The only thing about it I don’t like is that I know it won’t last forever, and I really wish it would.
